The "Louvre Pose"
Just as people like to pose next to the Leaning Tower of Pisa (and pretend like they're holding it up), someone got the bright idea that something similar could be done at the Louvre. I do not condone the behavior (people look ridiculous doing it and it makes for an awful tourist photo)... but it is kind of fun taking photos of people as they pose. These were a couple of the photos I got.
A Carnival in the Park
As I was walking along the Seine, I noticed a big ferris wheel in the Tuileries Garden. Normally, I think that carnivals are cheesy (try to avoid them at all costs). However, for some reason, a carnival in Paris seemed fitting... and the weather couldn't have been more perfect. I decided to take a walk over and have a look. After buying some cotton candy, I took a few photos.

Going back to Paris, this was a nighttime photo that I took while in Paris... looking back towards the Louvre.

Another famous river in Europe... this image was taken in Paris along the banks of the Seine at 10pm at night (after an amazing dinner). It was amazing how late the sun stayed out during this time of year. I was right next to the Louvre when I took this shot and you can see the Grand Palais des Champs-Elysées in the background. I was just walking back to my hotel room and noticed the sky lighting up... lucky I had a camera with me.
