Some grainy iPhone images taken from above NYC... it felt like the pilot purposely flew us over all of the tourist spots on this particular flight. Felt like I should have paid extra??

Assembled in NYC... a New Balance Story
I was in NYC for one day and had the opportunity to check out the New Balance Experience Store next to the Flat Iron Building. It was a cool little shop. NB actually transported part of their Maine factory all the way to New York (machinery and people). The woman showing us around had worked at the Skowhegan Factory in Maine and was brought down specifically to build shoes in the store. If you want, you can ask for her to assemble shoes right in front of you... doesn't get much more fresh than that!

HOME CANDY
Couldn't really figure out what this sign meant... and why it was on the front of an auto repair shop. Kind of creepy. I would never take my car there.

Golden tower.
I went on a day trip to NYC this week and got a chance to walk around the city a bit. One of my favorite things about NYC architecture are the water towers. It's something that's inherently unique to the city. I just happened to be walking down the street when I noticed that one of the water towers appeared to be glowing. The sun had gotten into a perfect position behind it. Kind of a cool shot.
