The London Eye as seen from a bridge crossing over the River Thames. I thought this was a pretty cool image... looks like the giant eye is about to attack the city. Also, the sky had some interesting colors in it.

As you can see from the pile of shoes behind her and the fact that she's on the phone... Tammy is a busy person (and I caught her at a busy moment). Nonetheless, she still offered a nice smile for me when I took her picture!

I got a chance to work with Arthur for a couple of seasons. He was a very nice person to work with. It always surprised me how quickly he was able to adapt to new situations and new changes.

Rita has been amazing. I don't know how she does it... but Rita seems to cover the jobs of 3 people (perhaps she has two twin sisters that she doesn't tell us about??). Most people will get stressed out by that... but as you can see by Rita's smile, she always has a positive personality.

I used to work with Lillian a lot back in the day... and always enjoyed the projects we worked on together. She has done everything from from kid's shoes to women's fashion. Lillian was one of the developers responsible for the NB for Nine West collection. Great work!

If anyone is familiar with the movie Pulp Fiction, they will remember the scene where the gangsters get into trouble and have to call the Wolf (to help fix things). This Wolf is similar... you go to him with a problem and he helps fix it. He's a great guy to work with and also fun to have some drinks with.

Sara is responsible for all of our costing that comes out of one factory. She's great to work with (is very good with numbers)... and as you can see, has a great smile.

Andy is a great engineer working at one of our factories in Asia. He definitely has a very strong technical knowledge and a desire to make awesome shoes. I got a chance to hang out with him when he visited our Boston office... and really enjoyed his personality.

Portrait of a shoe cobbler - Tony
Tony is a true/old school "shoe cobbler". If you gave him a hide of leather, some textile, and a bit of rubber... he can "cobble" together a shoe (Tony is kind of like the Macgyver of the footwear world). What makes Tony even better to work with is his calm and easy going personality. No matter how big the problem, he always remains cool.

Jacqueline is a material expert. Whenever I need a new material developed, I go to her and she makes it happen. Jacqueline is also one of the most stylish people in the NB office... she definitely has a great fashion sense and a great smile.

I was doing B&W portraits for everyone, but I had to keep Johnson's color... Johnson has one of the most animated/colorful personalities I've ever come across and I felt it suited him well. The nickname "Mad Johnson" came about because Johnson is basically a mad scientist for shoe technologies. All you have to do is come to him with an idea and he will find a way to make it happen.

Jenny has been my developer on some of the most complex projects I've ever worked on. I love working with her because she never comes to me with a problem without also offering a potential solution. She's definitely one of the best developers of new technologies.

Lucy is what I would describe as a shoe developing ninja. She has an incredible amount of knowledge related to footwear... and she uses this knowledge to "attack" all of her projects. It's always a pleasure to know that Lucy has been assigned to a project.

Shelling is passionate about every style he works on and it shows in the products that come out. Some of his main interests include: bone soup, hamburgers, and bright colored shoes.

This picture is of a beautiful lake in southern China. The name of the lake is actually called "7 Star Lake" (great tourist ploy by the Chinese government?)... it's in the Zhaoqing province. It makes you forget that you're in the heart of the biggest manufacturing zone in the world.

The streets of East London have some of the best graffiti art in the world. If you're ever there, I definitely recommend cruising the streets for an afternoon just to check it out. This definitely was not one of the best pieces I saw... but I liked the combination of colors and textures in a confined space.

This is a lake in Zhaoqing, China. I tried to give this photograph a mixture of modern and retro. You can see vivid details of the white rock in foreground, but then I blurred out details in background... making it look a bit like an old painting. Anyways, I thought it came out pretty cool.
