A beautiful summer day in Boston. This is an image of the Boston skyline from Cambridge side of the Charles River. Prudential building, John Hancock Tower, and Mass Ave Bridge featured in this photo.

The sun setting over the Charles River... and a couple enjoying the view on John W. Weeks Bridge. I really love the colors in this image. It looks like the bridge is glowing.

I've decided to stick with Boston for an entire week. This photo was taken on Sunday, July 18th in Copley Square. It was a beautiful day outside... so I rode my bike all over the city and took random photos. I really like this spot in Copley Square because it does a good job blending together old (Trinity Church) and new (John Hancock Tower).

Sticking with the "Boston" theme... I decided to add a photo with a bit of color to it. This was probably the most breathtaking sunset I've seen since I moved to Boston. This photo was taken on July 4, 2010. It was one of those evenings where the sun just turned everything to gold... the fireworks got "upstaged" on this particular 4th of July.

The first photo in this series is an image of a man canoeing down the Charles river in Cambridge, MA. I chose this to be the first photo because Black and White film is what inspired me to learn more about photography and invest in a decent camera. During school, I spent a decent amount of time in the darkroom developing my own film (prior to the advent of digital photography). Yes, I did tweak this photo a bit in Photoshop, but it's merely meant to act as a representation of what got me started.
