I was hanging out at Copley Square listening to a performance by students from the Berklee College of Music... and heard sirens and people chanting "Off the sidewalks into the streets!" I decided to walk over to Boylston Street and see what the commotion was. Apparently, a rather large protest was taking place and people were marching through the streets of downtown Boston. Lots of young people were in the mob... looked like a lot of college students.
It will be interesting to see what becomes of all the protests going on around the country. Are these same people going to come out to the poles on election day? Are they going to band together and elect specific candidates? Are they going to become the anti-Tea Party? Do they really represent the 99%?
